Contains photographs of the following military units: Battery C, 56th Training Battalion; Women's Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC), Military Police (MP) Detachment, Daytona Beach, Florida; 10th Company, 5th Regiment, WAAC, Daytona Beach, Florida. General description of the collection: The Thomas J. Mizer photograph collection contains photographs of four basis subjects: 11 long rolls of 35mm negatives of scenes on Camp Callan, California circa 1942-1943 (none of these negatives have been printed); there are numerous photos of rest and recuperation (R & R) trip to Rome, Italy and Lucerne, Switzerland, and a horse show, place unknown. The remainder of the photos are of personnel and offices of his associates in a military government detachment in Germany. Almost none of the photographs are captioned so specific people and places are unknown. The unit photos listed above are all of the long rolled photos types.
